[m] Platform
As a consolidated digital agency platform, [m]Platform provides real-time media investment management. In addition to acting as a services platform, it also operates a global and regional network of digital specialists and technology businesses.
PRODUCT DESIGN

😫 The current UI lacks a clear hierarchy, leaving users without a clear path to the next step and no clear sense of where they are in the process.
😢 Users often get lost while trying to complete a task or encounter difficulties navigating to other processes.
Problem
Requirements
😁 Widgets will display upcoming steps in a process to guide users. They will also showcase related content to further assist users.
🤩 Workflows will be customized based on user personas.
Solution
Design Principles
Guidelines for creating a seamless user experience across all touchpoints.
Be Simple
Reduce complexity by creating an organized system, simplifying without sacrificing relevance.
Be Trustworthy
Be Obvious
Aim for clarity, allowing the user to focus on their task. Provide clear and distinct choices.
Give users control, meet their expectations, prevent errors, and fail gracefully when necessary.
Be Flexible
Offer configurability, amendments, and overrides. Adapt to different ways of working.
Be Efficient
Save time and effort by automating repetitive tasks without compromising accuracy.
Be Helpful
Provide users with feedback on their actions, inform them of what’s next, and allow them to preview before they commit.
Persona
The platform is heavily used by most analysts across all users. Here are some personas based on the user interviews I conducted. Each role has its own goals and specific feature requirements for the platform.
New Design System
+ A unified design library with generic components for flexibility across applications.
+ Flexible enough to accommodate different interactions.
+ Themeable – allowing the default GDT brand to be switched to styles for older apps.
+ Documented with usage guidelines in Confluence, integrating Storybook elements.

Information Architecture of [m]Platform
The product consists of four main apps: Consumer, Insights, Planning, and Creative, which cover the full media cycle. It starts with market research and audience segmentation to target the right audience. Then, it moves on to content creation and production, while simultaneously handling planning and budgeting on the finance side.

Planning Studio
To help agency teams effectively target their clients’ strategic audiences in digital media campaigns and ensure better alignment between planning and activation teams, Planning Studio drives efficiency and accuracy in translating audience segments defined through survey data (Audience Origin) into demographic and interest-based (Affinity) audience definitions. These segments are then available for activation within ad-tech platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Amazon, and IAB.

Users can "favorite" user behaviors to move them to the top. The overview card will display the overlap rate. By clicking on each card, users can view the detailed charts.
Users can compare different scenarios by selecting multiple items from the list in the Scenario Manager panel. They can also filter, search, and rename scenarios within this panel.
